Spot at the bar–The Simply Margarita

As spring weather moves in for good, refreshing drinks take center stage. Spend all day in the yard and a nice light beer or a light, easy drinking libation such as a margarita, mint julep, or mojito, may be just the salve you need to rejuvenate your tired body and perk up the weary mind.

Just a few days ago, a long day in the sun brought out a significant demand for margaritas at our house. Foolishly having not planned ahead for the occasion, I started pulling things from the fridge to see how I could satisfy the thirsty guests. With a full stock of Simply Limeade and Simply Orange, I knew I could get somewhere close. And thus was born the Simply Margarita:

2 parts Cuervo Especial Tequila
1 part Grand Marnier
2 parts Simply Limeade
1 part Simply Orange
Shake and pour over ice
Sea Salt for the glass rims if you choose.

Turns out to be a simply fine drink with minimal effort. Time to go sip on the one I just made to double check the recipe, you know for the sake of accuracy and all. If you have a margarita recipe you enjoy, please feel free to share in the comments.
