Coca-Cola Freestyle Giveaway

When I was in college, my friends and I headed down to the Bahamas for Spring Break. We were tight on money, but our priorities were firmly set. A huge bottle of low grade rum was cheaper than a six pack of beer, so we swore off beer for the week. Problem was a six pack of Coke was also more expensive than the rum. We quickly figured out that the pizza place next to our hotel had a dinner meal for less than the cost of a six pack of Coke and included a large fountain drink. Dinner and our mixer at a great discount! The only problem was the drink machine was limited to Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and a couple of broken fountains. Don’t get me wrong we had all we needed, but we could have pulled off some fantastic drinks a la Tom Cruise in Cocktail if we had over 100 different mixers available.

The Coke Freestyle Machine

More years than I care to admit have passed since those college days, but Coke has finally stepped up to the plate with their Freestyle Machine. This “Fountain of the Future” is

Coke’s slick, high-tech fountain that dispenses more than 100 drinks, including exclusive products – like Raspberry Coke and Peach Sparkling Dasani.

For a list of the full 100+ drinks this thing kicks out, click here.

Want to check this thing out? You’ll be guaranteed to find it at Wendy’s, as they’ve selected New Orleans as their first market-wide roll-out for the Freestyle. Want to check it out on someone else’s dime? We’ve got a bunch of $10 Wendy’s gift certificates for that very purpose. To get yours, simply comment on this post (no need to get detailed if you don’t want to, “yes please” or “I’ll take one” will suffice) and then email us at redstreetcarline at gmail dot com. First come first served, so…ready, set, go!

*****Full Disclosure Time: Clearly we didn’t run out and buy a bunch of Wendy’s gift certificates to hand out. Some marketing company that represents either Coke or Wendy’s or both contacted us and offered them up. While we’re not really fast food people, that doesn’t mean you aren’t. And I do love cool technology stuff and a Coke fountain with almost endless options sounds awesome. Plus it’s free stuff, and who doesn’t like free stuff?
